An illustrative estimate based only on the values you enter. It is not a benchmark, a forecast or a promise of results.

How to use the result

Treat the result as a way to size the problem, not as a forecast. The biggest driver is your assumption about how much conversion falls when a reply takes longer than a day, so try a cautious value and a generous one and compare.

If the numbers are meaningful, the next step is to measure response time properly. Our glossary entries on speed-to-lead and lead routing explain the usual fixes, and lead management and routing shows how higheredcrm.ai assigns each inquiry the moment it arrives.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where do the default numbers come from?

They are example values only, chosen to make the calculator readable. They are not benchmarks or industry averages. Replace every field with figures from your own institution.

How is the estimate calculated?

Your overall conversion rate is treated as a blend of inquiries answered within 24 hours and those answered later, with late inquiries converting at the lower rate you set. The difference, applied to your late inquiries, gives the students at risk. The improvement you enter is applied to that figure.

How do I find my share of inquiries not contacted within 24 hours?

Compare the time each inquiry arrived with the time of the first reply or call, for a recent sample across all channels. If you can't measure it yet, try a few values to see how sensitive the result is.

Is my data saved or sent anywhere?

No. The calculator runs entirely in your browser, and nothing you type is stored or sent to us. If you choose "Book a demo with these numbers", the numbers are copied into the demo request form, and they reach us only if you submit that form.

How does an admissions CRM reduce slow follow-up?

By capturing inquiries from every channel in one place, assigning each one to a counselor immediately, sending an instant first reply through a workflow or chatbot, and putting overdue follow-ups on each counselor's daily task list.
